Shri G. Sivannarayana
Project Director, ATMA
35 years of service to Indian farmers
service
A life spent
serving the soil.
My father, Shri G. Sivannarayana, dedicated 35 years of his life to India's farmers as Project Director at ATMA โ Agricultural Technology Management Agency. With an MSc in Agriculture, he spent his career not in offices, but in fields โ helping smallholder farmers across Andhra Pradesh grow better, live better, and hope better.
As he prepares to retire in July 2026, I asked him what his one wish was. His answer was simple: "Plant one lakh trees before I'm gone."
"Every tree is a promise to the next generation. I just want to keep planting."
โ Shri G. Sivannarayana, Project Director, ATMA (retiring July 2026)That wish became this mission. We didn't want to plant 1 lakh trees. We decided to plant one million โ and build an organization that outlives all of us.
